Hi My Friends!
It is Littlemas Day 6, and today’s challenge is to look around your play space/ room and see if you can declutter anything. During Christmas last year I began to get into minimalism after watching a ton of videos on YouTube. Back then, I decided to the 30 day minimalist challenge. For an entire month you donate, give away, toss, etc. the number of items corresponding to the date on the calendar. So on Dec. 1st I gave away 1 item… on Dec. 2nd I got rid of two items… and so on. By the end of the month I had gotten rid of over 400 items!! I didn’t even know that I had that much clutter, but my friends, it just creeps up on you over the years. 🙂
Once I got bitten by the minimalism bug I was hooked. Suddenly having a clear, clean space felt refreshing and relaxing. I knew where everything was located and just looking at a cluttered environment made me cringe and feel anxious. So when I was creating my printables I knew that I wanted to devote one day to sharing my passion for minimalism with you. It’s easy to collect dozens (and sometimes hundreds! Eep!) of stuffies… figurines… DVDs… books… etc. but all of that clutter can really make a play space feel cramped. So here is my challenge for you today:
I dare you to look around your own home and see if there is anything that you can give away to someone in need. It feels so good to give freely to someone who truly needs help. Try decluttering your play space and see how you feel! 🙂 Hold onto the things that really, really feel special and important and let go of the things that don’t hold as much value.
In today’s printable I have given you 10 categories of areas to declutter in your home. Pick one and dive right in. Enjoy today’s free printable everyone, stay tuned for the next post, and until then, keep on smiling! 🙂
