Littlemas Day 11: Send Your Friends & Family Love in an Eco-Friendly Way [FREE Printable]

Hi My Friends!

Littlemas Day 11 is all about sending your friends and family love in a way that doesn’t hurt our planet. So often we hear about sending holiday cards out… and then New Year’s Cards… Valentine’s cards… Easter cards… etc. But how many times do we stop and think about how much paper that is using? How often do you think about how each piece of paper comes from a tree that was chopped down somewhere, and for what? To say “Merry Christmas” to your family? Now, don’t get me wrong. I love showering my friends and family with love during the holiday season. I don the most ridiculous festive sweatshirts and leggings imaginable to make others feel festive too, but it’s also important that we show love to our planet and be thankful for this world that we’re living in.

This is why, for Littlemas Day 11 I challenge you to use an alternative method to greet your friends and family this year. Did you know that there are greeting cards that are biodegradable? C’mon…. you all know that we toss away the greeting cards once the holidays are over 😉 . (Minus cards from you, Daddy, of course! lol). But seriously, there are cards out there that won’t create waste once they’re tossed away. There are other cards that are actually a planter, complete with plant seeds in them!! You can read the card, stick it in a pot with planting soil, sprinkle some water, and watch it grow! It’s a card and a gift! 🙂

So for today’s free printable I have brought to you a list of various eco-friendly methods to send your holiday greetings to loved ones. I hope you enjoy this list as much as I do! Stay tuned for the next post, and as always, keep on smiling! 🙂
