Hi My Friends!
Today is day 7 in the “100 Days of Dom-Sub Bonding” and today I’d like to talk about the term, coupling. In South Korea, there is a fashion term called coupling, that is used to describe couples who are dating and show the world that they are taken by wearing matching outfits. It may seem silly at a glance, but there is an entire fashion industry that promotes outfits designed just for coupling! Here are some of the coupling looks:
Coupling is all about playing around with textures, neutral colors and styles, to see what items can look great on both of you.
For today’s challenge: I dare you to to pick out a matching outfit that is comfortable and wear it on the same day together. Connect over choosing your outfit and find clever ways to mix and match each other!
You can make an otherwise masculine outfit more feminine by pairing it with a skirt or romper. You can dress things up with a nice pair of slacks or a feminine suit, or dress a men’s shirt down with a pair of overalls on top!
The goal of this exercise is simply to work together in choosing an outfit that is fun for you both to wear, and to communicate through the process. 🙂
If you don’t have any matching clothing, try going to your local thrift store! There are tons of gently worn items there for you to choose from. Mix and match colors until you find a style that suits you both.
I hope you all enjoy this activity. Stay tuned for tomorrow’s bonding exercise. Have a wonderful day everyone, and as always, keep on smiling! 🙂
