Days 10 & 11: Trace Your Family Tree & Trace Your Hand and Write a Letter Inside It! [100 Days of Dom-Sub Bonding]

Hi My Friends!

I know I have much to catch up on in the “100 Days of Dom-Sub Bonding” so here we go with days 10 and 11!

== Day 10 ==

Activity: Trace Your Family Tree

I have always loved tracing my ancestral roots. Growing up, there wasn’t a very strong cultural identification that I could remember. I envied those who had a clear identity of who they were. In my family, we were simply “white”. That’s about it. It was only years later when I began peeling back the layers of my family tree, did I discover little traditions that we had done that correlated to our roots as Irish and English.

In this activity, work with your dom or sub and trace your own family tree! You can use ancestry.com for more accurate records, or talk to older family members to gain knowledge. But trace your tree and begin to learn more about each other on a deeper level. Ask each other thought provoking questions such as:

  • Did you grow up with any special cultural traditions?
  • Are there any family stories that have been passed down for generations?
  • Are there any special family recipes that have been taught to you? If so, what are they? (Bonus points if you teach your Little how to cook the dish!)
  • Do you feel a strong tie to your ancestral roots?

Activity: Trace Your Hand and Write a Letter in It!

Oh, how I loved doing this activity for my Daddy. This activity is a special little arts and crafts project designed to create something special for your dom. Trace your hand on a piece of paper and then cut it out. Write a thoughtful message to them and then wait to give it to them at the perfect moment. If you’re in a long distance relationship, this would be an especially wonderful thing to have as your dom can place their hand on your “hand”. I hope you all enjoy this fun, little bonding exercise! 🙂

That’s it for this post, my friends. I hope you all enjoy completing these two bonding activities. Stay tuned for the next post, and as always, keep on smiling! 🙂
