Hi Friends!
Today has been a tough day. But, whenever those days hit… I dig deep. I turn on Ingrid Michaelson’s song, “Keep Breathing”. And I do. I take deep, calming breaths. I close my eyes and I begin to write. I let the emotion flow through me. In my quest to let today wash over me, I feel a yearning to share more about “Big Me”, or my adult side with you. I’m known on here as Penny Berry, and a Little. Which I am! But I’m also so many other things. So, tonight I want to give you a small dose of the rest of me in hopes that you see me more as a person, and less as just a little. Enjoy, friends. Now, let’s dive in.
- I’ve moved around 30 times in almost 35 years.
- My first pet was a Newfoundland dog who I adored completely.
- I also grew up with a cat named Minnie who slept between my legs. (I love animals so much!).
- I know how to catch, clean, and gut a fish.
- I love to cook and can cook a wide range of things. (I love to bake too!).
- I love to go for a walk and just talk. It’s one of my favorite ways to decompress.
- Swimming and yoga are two of my favorite ways to exercise.
- I love to go sailing. I dream of one day owning my own sailboat.
- I love the minimalist style and look. Clutter makes me really anxious.
- My dream car is a Thunderbird, in baby blue, tan leather interior, with a hard top. Mmmm!
- I have always wanted to go to a monster truck rally. π
- My favorite scent is cinnamon or apple cider. Any of the Fall smells.
- Christmas is my favorite holiday, but St. Patrick’s Day is my 2nd favorite! I celebrate both every year and go all out!
- I have always wanted to go to a nudist resort. That is definitely on my bucket list, simply for the ability to walk around naked and feel completely free and unencumbered. lol!
- I’m an online role player and have been for 13 years between (World of Warcraft, Guild Wars 2, and FFXI).
- My weakness is new shoes and purses. So girly, I know. π
- I’ve never drank soda my entire life. I still don’t.
- I enjoy watching TED talks and taking notes as I learn new things. If you ever want to find me, just follow the trail of notebooks and sticky notes lol.
- My favorite season is Fall.
- I’m a Libra and my horoscope fits me well.
- I would totally live off-grid or in an eco-village if I could. π
- I usually feed birds wherever I’m living. At almost every place I’ve lived, I end up setting birdseed on the window sill and just watching little birds come to enjoy the feast. It makes me happy.
- My favorite type of cuisine is Japanese, though I love all kinds of food. π
- I do not like the movie theaters but one day I want to watch the IMDb Top 100 movies.
- I love rocking out to Filipino music. I can sing in Tagalog quite well, even though I only know a small fraction of what I’m singing lol. π
- I rode horses growing up, and still today I absolutely love being around horses.
- My favorite color is white if it’s something to wear or home decor. But it’s pink on most everything else.
- I don’t like getting flowers as a gift. Flowers die and have to be cut for bouquets. Get me a meaningful gift like a book or mug instead lol.
- One day I hope to be a 100% raw vegan. For now, I’m inching my way there.
- Two years ago I saw the “Riverdance” show (finally!) and it was the best show I’ve ever seen. If they ever come back to Cali, I’m totally going to see it again. It’s SO worth it! β€
My favorite holiday is Christmas, as well.
My favorite season is Winter.
I am a Capricorn.
I am a mountain person.
I am a dog person.
My favorite color is pink.

If you ever get an opportunity to travel for #14 get to the South of France. Cap d’age. It’s a whole town that is totally nude if you want to. I went with my wife a few years ago. But go LATE summer. We went July/August and it was too hot. Beaches are lovely and all the hotels have great pools. Shopping in the nude. Strolling around the village. All shapes and sizes and nobody gives a shit!
