Day 48 of Little Introspection: Can You Be Curvy or Larger, and Still Be a Little?

Hi Friends!

Let me just answer today’s introspection question with a resounding: YES!! Yes, you can! I live it everyday, and honey, I have some curves! Okay, now that we got that out of the way. Hi! πŸ™‚ How are you, today? Are you having a good day? Are you feeling well? I hope so. Here’s a BIG digital hug from me just for you! *SQUEEZES* Now, let’s dive in to today’s topic.

I. Curvy Girls Can Wear Little Clothing Too:Β

Yup, that’s me. Clad in a onesie from one of my favorite DDLG online shops: Lil Kink Boutique. I love the ocean and sailing, so this is by far my favorite onesie. (And it’s pink!! Weee!!). When I first got into the lifestyle, I felt really insecure about my size. I wondered if I had to be “little” or thin in order to be an adult little. But as I navigated my way, and my journey as a Little, I learned that there are plenty of shops that offer little clothing for every body shape and size. Embrace who you are, because you ARE beautiful just as you are! You don’t need to be anybody but you. πŸ™‚ So rock that onesie! All littles are valid.

II. Even Curvy Girls Can Behave Like a Little:Β

Finding your own “little voice” is something that every little struggles with at first. It comes from a place of pure joy and innocence. This video (above) is a snippet of what my little voice sounds like. When I’m in little space, and my inner child comes out, this is how I sound. I’m happy, and full of life. I feel free and at peace. I feel curious about the world, and I embrace everything around me. It’s wonderful. Whatever size you are doesn’t have to dictate if you are able to be a little. Being a little is about how you feel inside. It’s a state of mind. Not the size of your clothing or a number on the scale. Just relax…. and let “little me” come out.

III. Curvy Littles Enjoy the Same Things as Thin Littles:Β

Sometimes, I just feel very little. I long to shrink my world down, pop on some lullaby tunes in my headset, and curl up with my mason-jar bottle. (For anyone wondering what bottle I use. I went onto Amazon and chose the 6 month+ fast-flow nippleΒ that is compatible with any size mason jar. Just pop it in and you will be able to drink your favorite beverage at a flow speed that is comfortable for being an adult little).

One of my favorite things to do when I’m feeling very, very little is to be bottle-fed by my Daddy. I love snuggling up and having him hold the bottle as I drink the milk at my own pace. I feel warm, safe, and loved. With a belly full of milk, and soft tunes in my ears, I usually drift off right on his tummy. πŸ™‚ (Yes, curvy littles can snuggle on their mate too. πŸ˜‰ ).

IV. Finding Your Own Expression as a Curvy Little:Β

As great as onesies are, 99% of the time I’m not wearing them. I’m just wearing clothing that makes me feel playful, happy, and silly… while still blending into my vanilla world. As a curvy little, I have had to get creative with wear I shop. I hit up the thrift stores, as well as: Torrid, Hot Topic, ASOS, Amazon, Lane Bryant, Target, Walmart, and The Avenue to find clothing that is both fun, bright, and whimsical yet, modest, comfortable, and discreetly Little. It isn’t always easy to do, but it can be done. For example:

Both, these Christmas leggings and the sparkly unicorn socks came from Walmart for extremely cheap. I love wearing them all the time because they are so bright and happy looking. πŸ™‚ What stores do you enjoy shopping at for Little-inspired clothing?

V. Curvy Girls Can Be Just as Playful:Β

Size doesn’t dictate who you are as a Little. We can be just as silly, fun, and happy as anyone else. Littles come in all shapes and sizes, and quite frankly, I’m glad that we do! The world would be utterly boring if everyone were the same. Here is an example of a text message that I had with a fellow Little-friend of mine. We were both laughing until our sides hurt during this conversation:

VI. If You’re Feeling Self-Conscious About Your Size, Pick Somewhere Discreet to Be Little:Β

While technically I am “out” as a Little, I don’t go around with a bullhorn shouting to the world that I am one. πŸ™‚ That would look pretty silly, as fun as it might be. No, much of the time I have little space in the privacy of my home in the quiet hours of the evening. If you’re feeling insecure about being curvy, then I encourage you to take things slow. Choose a spot that is “FPF” as I so lovingly say, (or fat people friendly). For me, I love to swim. Especially when I was at my heaviest, I loved swimming because you feel as light as a feather in the water. Your mommy or daddy can carry you around in the water. You can have a piggyback ride, or tickle each other beneath the surface of the water! Now, how much fun is that?! πŸ™‚ You can also choose to do something more simple and draw a bubble bath for yourself!

In sum, don’t every let the fluff on your frame dictate your actions. Life is far too short to hold yourself back from seizing opportunities. Be the little that YOU want to be! Live the life that YOU want to live. Go out there and let your heart shine. I’m behind each and every one of you. You can do this! I believe in you. I hope you all have a wonderful Thursday. Stay kind to yourself, and I will see you back here on the next post.

Much love,

~Kitten xx
