Chubby Little Photo Challenge Day 11: Go to the Playground

Chubby Little Challenge Banner

Good Evening Friends!

I love going to the playground. As a silly, wholesome Little, I love swinging on swings. Today, I had every intention of going to the playground to snap a photo for you. Then, I had to let my cat go. Then, I had oral surgery. The stars were not aligning for that dang photo! But then, my new bed came in the mail.

Now let’s pause here for a moment. How do you sleep? No, really. In what position do you sleep? Are you a side sleeper? Are you a back sleeper? Do you burrow into a cocoon?

Sleep is actually very important and part of my self-care routine. Over time, as I decided to tackle my anxiety head on, it became a precious (almost ritualistic) part of my day. I have a specific routine for bed that weaves in my Little side. I shower with products that are my favorite scent. I wear pajamas that make me feel small. I say my bedtime prayers and allow myself to ponder. Then I nestle up my pillows in the shape of an L and finally pass out.

But I wanted more.

Which is why…. I switch to sleeping in a hammock! πŸ˜€ I’m so excited that my hammock is here. There’s one for me, and one for my husband. Now, for anyone in shock that my husband and I don’t actually Zzz-sleep together, rest assured the hammocks are side by side. So we’ll be just two swinging cocoons in the same room. πŸ™‚ But I digress.

I love my new hammock, friends! As a curvy little I wanted a hammock stand that could take my weight and then some. So I chose this hammock stand (built to hold up two people) complete with a special built in side table. It’s large enough for a book, cell phone, and it has a cup holder too! The hammock itself is all natural linen and is gentle on the eyes, as I am a minimalist who doesn’t like a lot of visual stimulation. But what I love most about sleeping in a hammock is that I can incorporate my love for play, being small, and creating a whimsical environment, into an ordinary task! ❀

Just hanging out πŸ™‚Β

So while I didn’t get to the playground…. I did get to swing! πŸ˜€ I hope you find your own ways to incorporate play into your normal routine! Sending big hugs to you, wherever you are and I will see you back here in the morning! ❀

Much love,

~Kitten/Punkin Xx

  1. Hell yeah, Kitten! It was like sleeping on a cloud with you 😍 I loved holding your hand, as we drifted off to Neverland.

Now we just need to sort out the β€œicebox” situation then it will be absolutely puurrrfect! 🐱

    I love you ❀️

  2. I love your blog. My goal, is to make my blog look a lot more like yours! Is the color scheme and layout a standard WordPress layout? Oh, by the way; I’m an AB, have been since I was 6 and now I’m 60. Again I love your blog and I’m also following you on Twitter.

    1. Awww thank you so much, Marty! Well welcome to my blog! ❀ I'm so glad you're here! I pay for the Premium level of WordPress so that I have plenty of gigs for videos, photos and such, but it also unlocks all of the premium templates to play around with the blog format. I highly recommend it! You know, I've never interviewed an AB on my blog. So I'd love to swap emails and loop you in on a spotlight interview. Big hugs to you, my friend and thank you for the lovely comment! Xx

    1. Hi Kitten! πŸ™‚ Welcome to my blog! I love Hawaii too, hehe! I just went to Maui last January and soaked in the rays for a whole 10 days. As for your question, there are several places I would recommend. The first is FetLife. You can make a free account on there and tag specifically what you’re looking for (which in this case is a DD). You can also automatically see all of the people on FetLife around your local zip code, which is excellent for making local friends. The second place I would look is DDLG Friends. There’s also Little Space Online. If you look at the top of my blog in the “Informational Cg/l and BDSM Resources To Know” page, you’ll find a ton of links to online forums to meet other people. I hope this helps, and I’m glad you’re here! Have a great day, my friend! Xx
