Good Afternoon Friends!

I’m back with another series for the month of October! A couple of years ago hubby and I challenged each other to do a $5 dinner date. We took a $5 bill into the grocery store and challenged each other to prepare a meal for two under $5 dollars. It was loads of fun. Now we’re back with a new series where we are going on 31 $5 dates that are easy, cheap, and so much fun to do! In addition, we will be giving you a spooooooky Halloween movie recommendation to wrap up your night. It is our hope that you find some inspiration in these fun, easy dates. Are you ready to come along with us? Then, let’s dive into today’s date!

Date #1: McDonald’s Ice Cream Cone Date!

Total Cost: $3.65 USD

Seriously is there anything cuter than a date for two with a cone in each hand?! This is the perfect date to take your Daddy or Mommy to. And! You can even play in the McDonald’s Playplace if you go on a weekday and it’s not swarming with little kids. 🙂 Just order two vanilla cones (200 calories a piece) and you’re ready to go!

Thank you to the nice McDonald’s lady who DID NOT skimp on the soft serve ice cream! Tehehehe! 🙂 ❤

II. Movie Recommendation: Goosebumps 2 (Available on Netflix Instant Watch)

While collecting junk one day, best friends Sonny and Sam meet Slappy, a mischievous talking dummy from an unpublished “Goosebumps” book by R.L. Stine. Hoping to start his own family, Slappy kidnaps Sonny’s mother and brings all of his ghoulish friends back to life — just in time for Halloween. As the sleepy town becomes overrun with monsters, witches and other mysterious creatures, Sonny joins forces with his sister, Sam and a kindly neighbor to save Sonny’s mom and foil Slappy’s plan.

Alright my friends, that’s it from me for this post. Stick around to see all 31 $5 dates! hit that like button if you enjoyed this. Smash that follow button if you’re new around here, and I will see you back here for the next topic!

Much love,

~Kitten/Punkin xx

      1. When she is able, and as long as you were being respectful, she’ll respond to you. For now, you just need to exercise some patience and wait.
