Good Evening Friends,
I hope you all are having a relaxing Thursday. We’re almost to the weekend! Do you have any fun plans for the weekend? Around here we are gearing up to head to a haunted house on Sunday! I’m very excited. But first, let’s sit and have a cup of tea.
Ahhh… that’s better. 🙂 Tea always soothes the soul. Now, today I’d like to pose a question to you. Are you ready?
Do you ever feel different from people your age because you’re a Little?
Here’s how I feel….
At times I do. At the biological age of 35, people my age are usually parents with small children. I find that people my age are doting over their school-aged children and writing parenting blogs. Or the women have cooking blogs by the dozen. I find that women who have a “childish side” often only express it through a mere Disney T-shirt or a pair of chic Minnie Mouse ears. Rarely do I come across the adult, my age, who lets their inner child fully come out. So, in many ways, I feel like I’m paving the way for older Littles by being so “out of the nursery closet” and writing books about DDLG and Cg/l.
Within the world of BDSM I also feel different as a Little because there are such divisions within the submissive community. Many bloggers identify on a more mature side of D/s and dabble in S&M, Leather, Bondage, etc. This is, of course, perfectly fine! But, as a Little, I act differently from other submissives who are D/s but remain in their adult mindset. I regress and love to do so. Just last night I was curled up on the couch with my hubby eating mini apple pies and watching “David the Gnome” on YouTube. (It’s a fantastic cartoon show with positive environmental themes!). I don’t typically think about sex, impact play, and such on the day to day basis. My brain gears more towards a whimsical, magical world. I love fantasy adventures. I enjoy looking at interior décor that has rainbows and kawaii accent pieces.
I also love snuggling into a mound of pillows and watching anime. I play video games and have written literally hundreds of chapters of role play with my video game characters. It’s an absolute blast. So, yes, I do think being a Little makes me different in many ways from other people my age. But just when I begin to feel down about it, my daughter will say to me: “Mom, I love it that you’re different!” or my husband will say, “I love it that you march to your own drum!” or my dominant, Daddy C will say, “I absolutely love your bam bam hairstyle for multiple reasons!” and that puts a smile right back on my face. If I’ve learned anything over the course of the 4 years of being a full-time Little, it’s that you have to do what feels right in your soul. Don’t repress who you are inside. Be the Little that YOU are meant to be! Be your most authentic self because the world needs variety. The world needs people like you! 😊
So, whether I’m 35 or 65 I imagine I will still be swooning over everything kawaii, rejoicing in cartoon movies, giggling over delicious recipes complete with smiley faces, and coloring pictures that make me happy inside. Age is merely a number and as we like to say in our house: Littles don’t really age. The gap between your Little Age and your biological age simply gets larger.
How about you?! Do you ever feel different from people your age because you’re a Little? Comment and let me know! I’d love to hear from you!
And now let’s take a look at today’s tea time recipe!
Tonight’s tea time recipe is mac and dogs! It’s simple. It’s easy. And you can even cut corners if you’d like. Just grab a box of mac and cheese and a pack of hotdogs and you’re ready to go. Of course that said I should mention that I used veggie dogs since nitrates and beef is icky! These veggie dogs are delicious and my family enjoys them too…
And now for the recipe that’s not too much of a recipe! Hehe!
