Good Morning Friends!
Feliz Dia de Los Muertos to all those celebrating and a VERY Happy November, my friends!! Can you believe it?! It’s almost the “most wonderful time of the year”! Weee!!! Yesterday I snuggled up with the family for the whole day (hubby even took a day of vacation time!) to just ring in the holiday season and have some spooky fun. So here is what I was up to:
We kicked off the day by making a batch of Copycat Starbucks Pumpkin Spice Scones. They were absolutely scrumptious and super easy to make. (Go for the spiced glaze. It makes all the difference!).
Then, kiddo and I painted pumpkins together. This was my pumpkin this year! 🙂
Next, I wanted to choose a lunch recipe that kiddo could make in the kitchen since she wants to be a chef when she grows up. So, I chose “mummy pizzas” and sure enough she whipped up a quick batch. Using Trader Joe’s Autumnal Pasta Sauce it was very tasty!!
Finally we ended the night making a batch of Japanese Omurice… zombie-finger style! Hehe! It was very fun to pull together.
As we move into the new month I hope you all are making fresh goals… taking time with those you love… and remembering to smile. Please remember that you are deserving and worth all the love and joy in the world. I can’t wait to read more about what you all have been up to.
Stay tuned for my 2nd annual “Littlemas” kicking off December 1st! Have a beautiful day, everyone!
