How to Have a “Little” Christmas! [DDLG Littlemas]

Good Morning Friends!

I hope you all are snuggling in now that the holidays are near. (Or! If you live in the Southern Hemisphere, I hope you’re relaxing in the Sun and enjoying the outdoors!). Today I wanted to share my top 5 tips on how to weave your Little side into the holidays. Whether you have your own place, or you live with family and have to keep your little side on the “down low”, there are plenty of ways to have a Very Merry Littlemas this year! Are you ready? Then, let’s dive in:

Tip #1: Wear festive pajamas!

Nothing screams the holidays like wearing your favorite jammies to bed, right? I know that I have a few pajamas that are so soft and snuggly. Have you all seen the new Littleforbig “Snuggle Bows” pajama onesie they just designed?! It’s adorable and PERFECT for the winter season! (They also come in plus sizes too for all my fellow curvy Littles!). So, grab your favorite pajamas, snuggle in, and get ready to have a magical month of fun!

Tip #2: Bake treats that make your Little side squeal with happiness!

Now is the perfect time of the year to get your holiday bake on! Personally, I just made a bibingka cake for my family, but there are TONS of different recipes to explore to make your Little side feel crafty and festive. So tuck away that bathroom scale for a few weeks and pull out those mixing bowls and pans. C’mon… you know you want to! 😉 Here’s a few ideas to get you started:

Tip #3: Watch movies that speak to your Little side!

Every Little has their set of movies or shows to watch that make them completely melt inside and feel small. For me, Mr. Rogers’ Neighborhood, Sesame Street, David the Gnome, and Peppa Pig really make me feel small and happy. What movies do you enjoy? What holiday shows make you feel Little and happy? Netflix also has some fantastic holiday movies to tap into your Little side including:

  • How the Grinch Stole Christmas
  • Klaus
  • Santa Claws
  • Elliot the Littlest Reindeer
  • Stick Man
  • The Magic Snowflake
  • Green Eggs and Ham
  • Angela’s Christmas
  • Bob’s Broken Sleigh
  • DreamWorks Holiday Classics

Tip #4: Play outside in the snow OR attend a local holiday event!

Now if you live with or near your dominant, or you’re looking to have some holiday fun on your own as a Little, there are plenty of local events to partake in where you can be discreetly little!! Don your favorite shirt and head to a Christmas parade. Attend a community caroling event and sing your favorite tunes. Visit a tree lighting ceremony and stand in awe of all the twinkle lights. Head to your local movie theater and watch “Frozen II.” (It’s soooo good!!). What are you waiting for? 😀 Grab your coat and mittens and jump in on the fun!

Tip #5: Listen to Little holiday music!

Lastly, no holiday season is complete without some festive tunes playing. Now, we all know the classic carols that we sing this time of the year. But, did you know that there are Little versions of them too? Here’s a few to make you smile…

12 Days of Christmas…

Santa Claus is Coming to Town….

Rudolph the Red Nose Reindeer

Baby It’s Cold Outside…

I hope you all have a beauuuuutiful, holly, jolly, magical holiday season! Sending each one of you BIG hugs and squeezes!

Much love,

~Kitten xx
