How to Weave Little Space into Your Morning Routine [A Happy Post of Pictures!]

Good Morning Friends!

I hope you all are having a lovely day. This morning I woke up feeling creative, happy, and bubbly. I’m most definitely a morning person. That said, today I wanted to do something a bit different with you. I wanted to snap photos of my morning routine, and how I discreetly weave my Little Space into my everyday life.

For those new to my blog, let me give you a quick background recap. I’m 35 years old, and happily married to my best friend of 7 years. I also have a wonderful 12 year old daughter who I homeschool. Needless to say, I stay quite busy. While I am an adult little, I don’t have time (or space) to carve out an entire nursery for myself. I can’t get down on the floor and play with toys whenever the mood strikes. Instead, I sprinkle what I like to call some “Little Fairy Dust” into my day to remind me to stay small, happy, optimistic, and bubbly. I hope these pictures give you inspiration to weave little space or “your inner child” into your own life. Are you ready? Then, let’s dive in! ❤

I always wake up seeing my wiggly toes in my Hello Kitty slippers. My feet always get cold so I sleep in socks or slippers religiously.

I sleep in a hammock, which feels SO nice to be rocked in. Cosmos enjoys laying on my belly to snuggle in the hammock too. 🙂

Then I go outside and go track down my cat, Cosmos. He is notorious for hunting outside at night. But I love taking a walk outside down the long driveway and watching the sunrise.

Sometimes if I’m lucky, (like today!), I will see a rainbow. I still squeal with happiness whenever I see one.

I greet the chickens good morning and toss them some chicken feed. They are all hens, so I say “Good Morning Ladies!” and they come racing over to me. It makes me giggle.

Cosmos is usually slinking around somewhere hunting down a lizard, mouse, or gopher. He likes to leave me “presents” from his hunts.

Then I head inside to warm up and give Cos some snuggle time. He’s my little purr machine. We have full blown conversations together. His expressive eyes make me laugh.

Next, it’s time for brekkie! I always kick off the day with orange juice.

Then I make myself the same breakfast that makes me feel Little, yet it’s bursting with nutrition. I make a giant bowl of oatmeal with unsweetened coconut flakes, a drizzle of agave nectar, a generous sprinkle of ground cinnamon, and 1 large apple diced. YUM!!

And that’s how I begin my day! How do YOU start your day? Comment and let me know! I’d love to hear from you. ❤ Have a beautiful day everyone and I will see you back here tonight!

Much love,

~Kitten xx

  1. Looks like a nice place to be. Melbourne isn’t all that bad. Reasonably safe as far as large sort of cities go.
Chickens look great. My landlady has chooks and gives me eggs.
