Good Afternoon Friends!
I am so excited to dive back into more Toddler Tea Time recipes this year. But y’all… pull up a chair because my feet are sore! Yes, Daddy and I have resolved to working out extra hard this year, and thus these tea time recipes are going to be super healthy. Let’s all chow down on some fruit and vegetables together, okay? π
Today’s recipe is: Banana Dolphins!Β
This recipe is a snap to pull together and is perfect to incorporate in many ways including:
- Whip this up for a fun (and discreet) snack for yourself on the go. It’s wonderful to spark some play into your food.
- Share this fun snack with the littlest members of your family or your kids!
- Make some happy kids smile if you are a teacher, or volunteer somewhere with children.
Are you ready to make this adorable fruit snack? Then, let’s dive in!!
Step 1: Gather your supplies. You’ll need 2 bananas, 1 paring knife, 1 cup of blueberries (fresh or frozen), 1 black non-toxic marker, 1 cutting board, and 1 serving dish.
Step 2: Cut the bananas in half. (Enjoy eating the bottom halves of the bananas π ).
Step 3: Make a 1 inch slice into the top of the banana stem.
Step 5: Draw on an eye and a little mouth. (Get as creative as you’d like here).
Step 6: Pour the blueberries into a bowl and place the dolphins standing up. Smile and enjoy!
