The Most Vanilla Device I’ve Seen in a VERY Long Time…

Good Evening Friends!

I was browsing the news tonight when I stumbled across an article about a new device called: LoveSync. (Keep in mind that this is real!). LoveSync is a device with two buttons for couples. Here’s how it works: When partner A is feeling “in the mood” they simply press their button. A vibration or signal gets sent to partner B’s device. If they want to have sex too, then they press their button and partner A sees their device light up. Then it’s game on.

My friends…. I died laughing to their ad. I don’t usually poke fun, but this device was so vanilla that I just had to share. Here is their video. If you want a chuckle give it a watch:

Why is it SO vanilla? Let’s dissect this a tad. πŸ˜‰

  1. No communication: the thought of pressing a button to “alert” the Captain that I’m feeling frisky just makes me bust out laughing. It’s so much healthier to talk to your partner, love on them, engage in some gentle foreplay, and see if things take off. Never stop communicating whether it’s about wanting to have sex, or otherwise.
  2. In the D/s world, this product would never fly. Dominants are people who confidently tell their partner when they are in the mood. Many of them have no problem grabbing their submissive and going for what they want. The idea of the dominant pausing to press a button and waiting to see if their submissive agrees is almost laughable (lol).
  3. It doesn’t strengthen confidence in people. I think part of being in a relationship is learning to have enough confidence in yourself to share your needs and wants with your partner. If you are resorting to a button to “ask” your partner to engage in your sexual needs, you’re doing yourself a disservice. Buck up and put it all out there. Talk and express your needs and desires. You’ll be so much better off.
  4. One more unneeded gadget. Lastly, in the world of consumerism it’s clear that this device is right on par with the Shake Weight. It’s silly, ridiculous, and so not needed! Save your money, get down with your partner, and save some bedside table space for some real toys. πŸ˜‰

What do YOU think? Would you ever buy the LoveSync? Comment and let me know! I’d love to hear from you.

Alright my friends, that’s it from me for this post. I hope it gave you a giggle. If it did, hit that like button and let me know. Smash that follow button if you’re new around here, and I will see you back here for the next topic!

Much love,

~Kitten xx

  1. Wow! This is just sad. The only thing that comes to mind for this where it could be remotely useful is if your kids were around and they were young and you didn’t want them to know or something but I mean whisper in your partners ear, go into another room and pinned them against the wall, anything! Send a text message! That’s absolutely ridiculous. But the sad thing is is someone somewhere will buy it. Not me! My kids think it’s normal to smack butts to show affection! Haha

    1. LOL exactly, Danielle! I’m sure in super conservative households touching as spouses may be seen as inappropriate. But in our household (like yours), a smack on the tush or lots of snuggles from behind are the only “signal” we need, hehe!

      1. Perhaps I shall attempt to actually wrap my head around this idea. I can see some product like this being geared towards those who do not like to verbalize β€œbeing in the mood”. I can understand that having to say β€œdo ya wanna???” Can take away from the mood you are in. It can also lead to possible denial which can be no fun….

With that being said, that is why you learn to read your partner. I would like to believe I have the ability to pick up what a partner is feeling without the need for verbal communication. The idea that someone might actually need something like this is actually quite sad. I also believe it cheapens the experience of intimacy.

      2. Beautifully said, Bryun! I completely agree with you. Being able to read your partner is essential to any healthy relationship. I hope you have a fantastic Wednesday! πŸ™‚

  2. Oh my gosh, this is so painful! Wolfie KNOWS when I’m in the mood, I bite my lip and I giggle, I also get really audacious hehe. I basically challenge his authority but hey, it works. We have the Philips Hue lights behind out headboard so I might set them to purple, but there’s no pressing a button required. It’s usually “Purple lights?” “Yep..” and then it’s go time. There is nothing attractive or helpful about this and where I’m concerned. Oh and yes, we keep cuffs and a blindfold on our bedside, not a “maybe sex?” button πŸ˜‰ xx

    1. Exactly! Hehe! You communicate with body language, words, and your environment. I knew this would make you giggle and roll your eyes. ❀ Sending you big hugs, girly! xx
