Little’s Who Love, Day 1: Spread Kindness on Social Media

Good Afternoon Friends!

Whew! I hope you all are having a wonderful weekend. Around here the Captain and I have been testing out a one month grocery haul. So, today was spent shopping, cooking, chopping, and freezing tons and tons of food. The house smells heavenly and now I can rest on the couch knowing that my cupboards are stocked for the entire month of February. (If you’re interested on our menu plan, comment and let me know. I’d be happy to make a separate post over that). Today we are kicking off the new series, “Littles Who Love: 29 Random Acts of Kindness” to spread that Valentine’s love all month long.

Today’s Challenge: Spread kindness on social media.

Today I challenge you to join me in spreading more love on social media, email, and text. If I’m being completely honest, sometimes I’m not a fan of technology. So many times it’s difficult to feel emotion through text alone. We can sprinkle all the emojis we want, and yes it definitely helps, but sometimes it’s nice to have that handwritten letter or a face to face conversation. In a world where social media can be downright cruel, let’s bring back some of those old-fashioned manners and decorum, and make someone’s day with a sweet message or two. Here are a few ways that I’m going to tackle this challenge:

  • Today I’ll be sending out emails to people just letting them know I’m thinking of them.
  • I’ll be sliding into a couple of DMs on Twitter to say hi, and thanks for being my friend.
  • I’ll be tweeting a sweet hello to all of my Twitter followers
  • And of course I’ll be using this space to share my gratitude to all of you for making this blog so awesome and welcoming. You all really are the best.

That said, here is my special message for you:

Dear Friends,

Happy February! We are in the month of love, and today I want to express my deepest thanks and gratitude to each and every one of you. Thank you for following me here. Thank you for purchasing my books. Thank you for your amazing comments of love and support with every blog post series. The WordPress Community is such a beautiful place, and I feel humbled and thankful to be a part of it.

As we draw near to “the holiday of love”, it is my deepest wish that you make time and space to love yourself. If you’re a Little like me, know that who you are… as you are… is perfect. You don’t have to look like any other Little out there. Just be who you are! Be unique, because the world needs more people like YOU. The purpose of my blog is to be a place for learning, positivity, and compassion for all of those in the lifestyle, or for those simply seeking to better understand Cg/l.

There is no right or wrong way to be a Little. You are who you are, and if you feel that you’re a Little inside then you are most definitely a Little! (And welcome to the club, hehe!). ❤ This Valentine’s season I hope you do an activity that you enjoy. I hope you nestle up in something comfortable and soak in the beauty of everything around you. I hope you allow your imagination to wander as you dream big dreams. From the bottom of my heart, I hope you know that you have a friend in me. If you ever wish to chat or get something off of your chest, I’m just an email away. (Simply write me an email in the “Contact Penny” section! 😉 ).

May you know that you are loved. May you feel that you are loved. And may you have the most wonderful month, my friends.

Much love always,

~Kitten xx
