Day 7 of “Diving into Disney”: Winnie the Pooh

Good Afternoon Friends!

As we move through life there are people we come across that we quickly can label as “good” people. But how would we define the word “good”, or having “goodness”? I always loved the stories of Winnie the Pooh, because the Hundred Acre Wood is like a metaphor for life. Everyone has their own house spread across this vast and diverse planet. We are holed up in our dens trying to ride out this pandemic. So, like the friends in the hundred acre wood, we must get creative with how we communicate with each other.

Recently I’ve been working tirelessly with a few of my friends to build a Discord group of Littles and dominants in the lifestyle. It is a place where we can come together to chat, laugh, hang out, gather for Cg/l events, etc. It is blossoming wonderfully and I couldn’t be more pleased. So, consider this my formal invitation to YOU my dear friends! I hope that you will join us on Discord too! Everyone on there is a person that I would consider to be a “good” person. Why? Well, let’s dive in and I’ll explain more. 😉

I. Winnie the Pooh:

Goodness: displays integrity, honesty, and compassion, and allows us to do the right thing.

The server was first started by Mr. Bones/Count Howl. He is a good person with a heart of gold. He is an online dominant who also has a Twitch stream where he runs events like Cg/l bedtime stories, arts and crafts day, etc. Beginning in September he is unveiling a puppet show for Littles to enjoy too! So stay tuned to his Twitch channel for those events. The Count reminds me of Winnie the Pooh because he truly has compassion for others. He is online constantly and reaches out to all the new faces to welcome them and make them feel comfortable… just as Winnie the Pooh goes the extra mile to show love to his friends.

Then there is ScissorSista or “Sista” for short. She is a smart, vivacious woman (and fellow Little!) who helps with the technical/planning side of the server. Like Winnie the Pooh, Sista can always be counted on to give the whole and honest truth. She says it like it is, and for that I care for her deeply. She has become a dear friend of mine whom I cherish very much! I know you all will enjoy her banter and amazing emoji’s that she uses regularly too. 😉

Next is Taliron aka The Captain! Yes, the Captain is also a very visible face on the Discord server. He is our quiet, IT guy of the group who is always going out of his way to make sure that everyone is able to function in Discord with ease. Winnie the Pooh is so very patient when his friends get all flustered and bouncy, and so too is Taliron the quiet, calm voice of reason when everyone else gets in a tizzy lol.

Finally, there is Beerd. He is the compassionate, eclectic dominant of the moderator-bunch. Beerd pops in and out as his schedule allows, but his generosity knows no bounds. He is always there to lend a helping hand, share a sweet comment (or three!), give his voice of reason, and to cheer people up when they are feeling down. Like Winnie the Pooh, Beerd much prefers to celebrate life among his friends versus keeping to himself and that makes him a wonderful face for everyone on Discord. ❤

So, there you have it! 🙂 The moderators and I hope that you will join us on Discord and join our lively fun each and every day. To join the server please do the following:

I can’t wait to talk to all of you!! xx

II. Disney Bounding Outfit:

III. Little Space Activity: Create Pooh’s Honey Pot!

For today’s activity you will need the following:

  • 1 Terracotta pot
  • 1 tube of black acrylic paint
  • 1 tube of yellow acrylic paint
  • Paintbrushes

This simple arts and crafts will allow you to create Winnie the Pooh’s honey pot, in which you can put supplies, a plant, or to use to store other items. The possibilities are endless! To get started, begin by painting yellow around the top rim of the pot. Press your paintbrush against the pot to make the paint dribble a bit down the sides. You’ll want it to look messy as Pooh is never a clean eater! 🙂 Continue in this pattern all the way around the rim of the pot. Then allow the yellow paint to fully dry. Next, write the word “HUNNY” in black paint on the front middle of the pot. Pooh accidentally gets one of the N’s backwards. So, if you’d like to write it his way feel free to do so! 😉 Let the paint dry completely and enjoy your new honey pot!

IV. Personal Development Lesson:

Today’s character quality is goodness, and that means having compassion for others. As I’ve walked this lifestyle as an Adult Little for years now, I’ve met many Littles from all walks of life. Some I can relate to, and others I cannot. But the D/s couples that thrive all have the same value in common: they know how to love each other. Love is a verb, or an action. It is more about what you do (versus what you say) that matters. You must demonstrate to your partner that you love them. If you’re long distance, you must go the extra mile to communicate openly and without hesitation. You must make time for each other despite the miles and time difference. If you live together or you’re local, you still must show your partner how much you love them. How you carry yourself and the respect that you give to your partner is a great way to begin to show love in your relationship.

A while ago I had someone ask me, “how do I know if he (the dominant) loves me?”. I told her, “you’ll know by the way he treats you, and how well your relationship is thriving or not”. The bottom line is this: in any relationship (D/s or not), you either put in the time or you don’t. You either want to spend time with your partner, so you make it a priority to leave little notes/messages, or you don’t. If you want to love and support your partner, then you will sit and truly listen to what they have to say. If there is a desire, and a will, then the good in you will flow into the relationship to help it blossom. It really is that simple. You just have to both want it deep down. ❤ It is my deepest wish that all of you find the connections and partner/s that make you feel happy, enriched, at peace, and loved. 🙂

In today’s printable you will be given the following critical thinking questions:

Critical thinking questions: What are some traits that you look for in a partner or friend? How would you define a “good” person? Who is a role model that you look up to in life?
