Day 14 of “Diving into Disney”: Olaf

Good Evening Friends!

Once upon a time in the fjords of Northern Scandinavia there was a tiny town called Arendelle. The Norwegian-inspired town is home to two sisters, Elsa and Anna. Elsa was born with magical powers. Anna was born with none. Together they unlock the mysteries of their parents’ past. Also in this town is a walking, talking, snowman who is a bundle of joy! His name is Olaf (and he likes warm hugs). Are you ready to learn more about him with me? Then, let’s dive in! ❤

I. Olaf:

Joy: a feeling of great pleasure and happiness.

Olaf was created by Elsa many, many years ago when the two sisters were playing together in the great hall. Elsa asked Anna one very, simple question: “Do you wanna build a snowman?”. And Olaf was born! With magic and delight, Elsa crafted a snowman who enjoys warm hugs, singing and dancing, and always sees the bright side of life. Throughout “Frozen” and “Frozen II.” Olaf becomes a beacon of selfless love, and joy to his friends and family. He dares to dream big as he sings about his love for summer (having never experienced it before!). He self-soothes in “Frozen II.” by singing and dancing his way through the enchanted woods. But always he is a loyal, loving, dependable friend to Elsa, Anna, Kristoff, and Sven. And that is why he is the perfect role model for Littles! 🙂

IV. Personal Development Lesson:

Joy: a feeling of great pleasure and happiness.

What word would you use to describe your Cg/l relationship? Would joy be a word that you’d use? Whether you have a dominant, or you’re happily a solo/single Little, you can feel so much joy in Little Space! We all go into Little Space for different reasons. We all have various needs, wants, and desires as Littles. But at the end of the day, it is my deepest wish that all of us experience pure joy when we regress into Little Space. There are so many things you can do with your dominant to have fun and experience joy. If you’re stuck for ideas, check out this list of “100 Date Ideas for You and Your Dominant” Or, if you and your dominant are long distance (or are socially isolating apart) you can check out “15 Date Ideas for Long Distance Cg/l Couples”. Alternatively, if you are a solo Little you can read a few helpful tips on “How to Thrive as a Solo Little”. 🙂

Today’s critical thinking questions are as follows:

Like Olaf, how do you bring joy to your friends and family? Do you use humor to bring joy to others? How do you cope with a situation when you feel afraid?

Don’t forget to come chat with me and all of my Little and Dominant friends on:

I can’t wait to chat with all of you!!

Much love,

~Penny xx
