Hello 2021… Welcome Back And Happy New Year! [Life updates!]

Dear Friends,

Thank you for being patient as I needed to pull away and take time for me. For the past 4 months I’ve curled up into myself and taken time to heal. I’ve overcome personal obstacles that felt so difficult that at times I wasn’t sure how the heck I would make it through. But here I am… and I’m ready to take one step forward. Recently I sat in the doctor’s office and was told, “You need to find more ways to relax”. In truth I wanted to say, “no shit”. But I’m a lady so I bit my tongue. 😉 But in all seriousness the doctor was right. I needed time to be Little. I needed to let my inner child come out and play.

Many of you have seen the ebb and flow of my life for the past few years here on my blog. You have watched me love hard and learn lessons that has been both painful but necessary. As I ease back into blogging again, I will open up to all of you about where I’ve been and what I’ve been through. I believe in passing on knowledge to help anyone who is willing to learn. If I can save you from my mistakes then so be it. Nothing would make me happier.

For now it simply feels good to be back.

So what’s new around here? Well, Daddy and I are still happily married (8 years and going strong). Many of you know him as The Captain (or Cappy Quinn). This is appropriate as he and I share a deep love for the ocean and all things sailing. You will see him more around this space in the coming days so stay tuned. I am also being more selective about what I write and what I post. Once upon a time I wanted to flood this space with content and printables until everyone was satisfied. However, as we move into a new year I will be branching out to open up an Etsy shop with Cg/l items along with writing more books.

From the bottom of my heart thank you to everyone who has supported me. Whether you’ve purchased a book, or left me a lovely comment, or simply smashed the like button…. thank you. YOU are the reason that Penny Berry still exists. You are the reason why I was able to march back here reinvigorated and ready to spread more creativity and smiles. This community of amazing adult littles and caregivers is a part of who I am, and I feel blessed to be in it.
